The Inner City includes the CBD (including The Rocks, Barangaroo, Millers Point and Dawes Point) and inner city suburbs within the City of Sydney local government area (LGA). Sydney’s CBD is becoming a highly desirable place to call home due to new residential developments and more shops and cafés open on the weekend to service residents.
The Eastern Suburbs are located to the east of Sydney’s CBD and extend from Woolloomooloo over to the beaches and down to La Perouse. The eastern suburbs contain the most sought after real estate and is home to some of the most expensive properties in Australia due to houses on large blocks of land with captivating north facing views of the harbour and proximity to the CBD.
The Inner West is a melting pot of cultures and provides some of the most interesting gems Sydney has to offer. These gems include great people, great food, great houses and apartments, and that all important great community feel. Sydney’s Inner West region has plenty of character when compared to the ubiquitous picket fence of outer suburbia. Its density is higher and so is the energy, but that means that it has what suburbs want most - something for just about everyone.
Located just over 8km north east of Sydney’s CBD, the Northern Beaches is accessible, convenient, and a popular place to live. The Northern Beaches feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Sydney CBD due to the relaxed beachside lifestyle on offer.
Located on the northern side of Sydney Harbour and stretching from the Lane Cove River in the west to Mosman in the east and Chatswood and Castle Cove to the north, the Lower North Shore is a convenient yet more spacious and leafier alternative to the Inner West and a cheaper option to comparable real estate in the Eastern Suburbs. Many homes and apartments have spectacular water views and houses sit on relatively large blocks of land considering their proximity to the CBD.
The Upper North Shore encompasses suburbs on the North Shore rail line between Chatswood and Hornsby (or less strictly, Berowra). Real estate in these areas is preferred by well-heeled families due to the availability of quality schools, good transport and larger houses on large blocks of land in quiet, leafy streets.
The real estate was previously typified by large blocks of land with bush outlooks, however many areas (particularly those south of the M2 with proximity to the train line) are rapidly increasing in density as older houses are redeveloped into townhouses and apartment blocks. Fortunately many parks and reserves remain close to houses in the region including Pennant Hills Park, Lane Cove National Park and numerous parks along the banks of the Parramatta River.
The Hills Shire (also known as The Hills District) is a relatively narrow stretch of hills running north-south between Winston Hills and Wisemans Ferry. Many people associate real estate in The Hills with large blocks, picturesque scenery and peaceful surroundings.
The Sutherland Shire (also known simply as ‘the Shire’) in New South Wales, is bounded by Botany Bay in the north, Waterfall in the south, and Pleasure Point to the west. With Botany Bay, Georges River, and over 2km of beach between Wanda and Cronulla, there are plenty of very desirable real estate areas for nature lovers.
Western Sydney is often referred to as the heartland of Sydney as it covers a massive area west of the city. From the beautiful picturesque Blue Mountains in the far West with pristine bushland to the Penrith Lakes and the Hawkesbury River heading north to the bustling hub of Parramatta there is something for everyone in Sydney’s West.
South-West Sydney is located in metropolitan Sydney and covers an extensive area including the suburbs of Liverpool, Bankstown, Canterbury and Campbelltown and includes the Macarthur region.
Our buyers’ agents simplify the buying and property investment process for you. This includes negotiating the best price at Melbourne’s popular property auctions. We uncover off-market prestige real estate opportunities, including luxury penthouses and mansions for sale in Melbourne.
Brisbane’s property market is booming, with detached family-sized properties leading the way.
One reason is the city’s significant investment in infrastructure, which encourages locals to buy rather than rent, and which attracts interstate migrants. Property in Brisbane is also more affordable than in other major cities, the lifestyle is more relaxed, and when COVID was barrelling through the country, Brisbane and Queensland in general, were considered safe.
The Gold Coast boasts a vast array or property types, from prestigious waterfront canal properties, rolling mansions on Sovereign Island, luxury beachfront apartments, acreage property in the lush hinterland and a myriad of more affordable freestanding homes, townhouses and villas to suit everyone’s budget.
