NARELLAN, NSW REAL ESTATE BUYERS AGENTS

    Location and Transport Links

Narellan is located in South-Western Sydney, approximately 50km from the CBD. The suburb is currently serviced by busses to Campbelltown and the T2 South Line, but will host a major train station in future with a bus interchange and park and ride facilities. Public consultation for the preferred route from Narellan to Bringelly and Leppington has now been completed and other proposed stations include North Bringelly and Badgerys Creek to serve the Western Sydney Airport. A route north to St Marys to join the T1 Western Line has also been proposed and a corridor from Narellan to the T2 South Line is being investigated.

    Property types

Narellan was subdivided into residential blocks relatively recently and therefore dwellings in the area mainly consist of detached houses. There are also a small number of townhouses in the suburb.

    Shops and Restaurants

Narellan Town Centre has shops ranging from variety stores to Big W and the major supermarkets. United Cinemas and a number of restaurants and cafés can also be found along Camden Valley Way. The Camden Museum of Aviation maintains one of the largest privately owned collections of military aircraft in the southern hemisphere. Gledswood Homestead and Winery (circa 1810) is just up Camden Valley Way and offers ghost tours and hosts private functions.

    Schools and Educational Facilities

Narellan is home to Narellan Public School and Elizabeth Macarthur High School Community & Selective School. Nearby high schools include Camden High School and Mount Annan High School while combined primary/secondary schools include Oran Park Anglican College, Mount Annan Christian College and Macarthur Anglican School and Aspect Macarthur School in Cobbitty.

    Recreation and other Amenities

Golf fans don’t have far to travel to Camden Golf Course which offers 18 holes while swimmers can visit Atlantis Aquatic Swim Centre in neighbouring Smeaton Grange. The extensive Fairfax Reserve follows Narellan Creek and is home to the Macarthur Wombats AFL side.

    Why people live in Narellan?

Young first home buyers are attracted to Narellan due to the modern or brand new houses being offered for sale at relatively affordable price points for Sydney. In fact, the majority of the population is under 40 years old. Investors are attracted to Narellan due to the State Government’s huge infrastructure investment in the area in anticipation of the Camden LGA population growing by 192% between 2011 and 2031 – the largest growth of any LGA in NSW over that period. This will also promote future re-zoning around the transport corridor to increase density.
