Susan and Le’Roy had been living interstate before renting for some time in the Upper North Shore, when they decided to buy a place they could officially call home. They were ideally seeking a large family home with three living areas, 4 bedrooms, home office, 2 large bathrooms and a flat north-facing backyard. They had recently missed out at auction, although they were not overly disappointed as it would have stretched them beyond a place of financial comfort. Within 5 days of engaging our services I had shown Susan and Le’Roy two off-market properties and commented on every other listing on the market. We also completed an appraisal and managed to secure a suitable property prior to auction. It all happened extremely fast but they felt comfortable and reassured that they were purchasing a good price at a better than fair price, approximately $100,000 less than the vendor’s expectations.
