Kaan and Manori are lovely people with integrity who backed out of two contracts due a terrible display of poor agent ethics. When we found the above property, it belonged to an equally decent person with integrity. Even though Darren was going through throat cancer treatment, he still managed to replace and repair all the items identified on the Building and Pest Report. The house was being subdivided from a vacant block of land next door which caused a couple of months' hold-ups waiting for approvals, partly caused by the council. The amount of consideration I witnessed from both parties was heartwarming. The agent played an important part coordinating all the elements of the sale process and assisted the seller where she could, in particular when the seller was unable to speak and could only commnicate via email. 

Kaan and his family travelled to Queensland in the Sept school holidays which gave me the opportunity to meet them personally and show them through their new investment property and to meet the seller.  His elderly Mum took great delight in showing their 8 year old daughter a couple of "silkie" chooks who lived in the fenced off garden. While the seller offered to pay rent between the original settlement date and the twice extended settlement dates, Kaan was too decent to accept any rent from him. 

Kaan has other investments and is pleased with his new property.
