Willoughby is a family suburb located 7 kilometres north of the CBD on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Buses are the main form of public transport and reach the city in around 20 minutes depending on traffic. Bicentennial reserve is the largest in Willoughby and has many facilities including netball courts, a general sports field, a baseball field, a BBQ area and the Willoughby Leisure Centre with a fitness centre, sports hall, heated indoor pool, spa and sauna. Several walking paths can be accessed from there including the scenic Artarmon to Middle Harbour walk via The War Memorial Playing Fields, Keep Reserve and Sailors Bay. There are also a number of fitness clubs along Willoughby Road and personal trainers that run training sessions in the local parks.
St Thomas Primary and Willoughby Public are the local primary schools. Willoughby Girls High School is very well regarded and homes in its catchment area are hotly contested. St Pius X College and Mercy Catholic College in Chatswood and Roseville College are other highly regarded schools in the area.

This will buy you an older freestanding house in need of renovation or a semi-detached house with parking in decent condition. The median unit price increased by 12.0% last year to $757,000.
