Prior to our engagement, the client had been looking for a long time but was unable to find a suitable property due to living interstate and not having local area knowledge. To make it harder, her chosen search areas have huge buyer demand and a lack of inventory, it was evident from realestate.com.au that properties were being secured very quickly and the prices were increasing dramatically. The client became frustrated and knew that she needed to act fast before the prices became out of her reach. Not being able to rely on the internet photos to buy sight unseen, Dominique engaged our services. We did extensive searches and in a rapidly rising market our budget was outbid at auction and various offers on properties were accepted but gazumped in the final multiple offer stage. We finally found a cute 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit in a small complex of only 8, walking distance within 210mtrs to the beach which fills the buyer’s brief perfectly. It was an absolute pleasure working with this buyer and I know that she is very excited for the next chapter as a Mermaid Beach investor.
