Suzy had recently sold her large home and was looking to downsize, but still required a reasonable sized house for those times when the grandkids visited. An open plan living flowing onto a large deck and north-facing backyard were just some of the features of this lovely home in Newport’s east side. Within walking distance to the beach, transport, shops and multiple restaurants, it was exactly what Suzy needed. This particular part of Newport is extremely well sought-after and good opportunities do not come up too often. The property was listed for auction, but we submitted a reasonably strong offer and caught most buyers sitting on their hands. We were then able to quickly negotiate and secure the property on the Friday night, two weeks prior to the scheduled auction date. Suzy was absolutely thrilled!
