Taxi services operate from Brisbane international and domestic airports. You can also catch a taxi in the CBD and inner ring. Uber drivers are also available. Bicycles are popular and highly recommended as Brisbane considers itself green and environmentally friendly. My daughter and I met Carolyn at an open inspection about two months ago and immediately felt a strong connection with her. Even during that brief meeting, she offered sound advice on the property we were viewing together.

I had never seriously considered using a buyer’s agent before — especially since there were four of us involved in the search, and we figured we could divide the work and narrow down options ourselves. But on that drizzly day, Carolyn explained how her service worked: instead of clients doing the running around, attending inspections, and analysing listings, she does it for them — filming walkthroughs and giving her honest, professional opinion. It was a perspective I hadn’t considered, and it made a lot of sense for people with busy lives.

We agreed to stay in touch, and I let her know I was attending an upcoming auction for a property I liked — although I had a feeling it might go for more than I was comfortable with. When we arrived that night, I immediately felt out of my depth. The auctioneer moved incredibly fast, jumping in large increments, and the property sold within minutes. I didn’t even get a chance to bid and, truthfully, I felt very uncomfortable with the process.

After that experience, I asked Carolyn if she could sit with us at future auctions, and she immediately agreed. While we didn’t buy that night, we were grateful just to have her nearby.

About a week later, the four of us sat down for coffee with Carolyn — and after that conversation, we all agreed it was the right time to engage her formally. We happily paid the fee and began working together properly.

We knew it wouldn’t be easy — and expected the process to take around four months. But Carolyn understood exactly what we were looking for. Over the next three weeks, we saw a number of properties together and were able to clearly align on what we liked and what didn’t feel right.

Carolyn texted on a Friday to say she had found “the one.” I and by Monday lunchtime, we all attended a 30-minute inspection. The owner showed us through, and it was immediately clear — this was the perfect place for us. Carolyn nailed it.

Carolyn and Munro guided us through every step from there. They took care of all reports, inspections, and due diligence, and then supported us through the negotiation process. Their service has been nothing short of exceptional. By Wednesday we had our property.

I'd like to sincerely thank my Buyers Agent, Matt Corbett, from Propertybuyer, for his brilliant efforts to (more than) help with my recent property purchase. To be honest, I would like to rate him quite a lot more than 5 stars.

From Sydney originally, I have been living in Singapore for a little over 18 years now, where I have always had 'the dream' of getting a property in Manly; to move into at some stage in the future.

I tried to get this done mainly by myself around 5 years ago during Covid, when I was back in Sydney for a period of time, where in the end I just missed out on what I thought back then was an unbeatable property.

Fast forward 5 years, and I still can't really believe what Matt has helped me to recently purchase. I had heard some good things about Buyers Agents, and had been introduced to a few, where I couldn't be happier with the decision to go with Matt and the team at Propertybuyer.

From start to finish, everything was taken care of - where it did take a few months for the 'right' property to come along (which was actually a lot faster than I expected); where Matt had (very) patiently listened to my feedback during this time and still kept showing me a variety of options throughout the process.

Matt then helped to close the deal on my new property during what was arguably the most hectic day for me otherwise (keeping me regularly posted via text messages as to what was going on, and what he felt we should do, as the property was going to be sold that night, from all reports, and from his clearly excellent intel into the situation).

Thank you once again to Matt, and the Propertybuyer team for the superb work - it was an absolutely seamless experience from start to finish, with anything one might need to worry about with a property purchase taken care of along the way.

I would certainly have no hesitation at all to recommend Matt, and the Propertybuyer team; for anyone looking to get some expert help to get them the exact property that they are looking for within Australia.
