Nicole and Rohin live outside of Sydney but wanted their first NSW investment to be in Sydney. They live in another state and are time poor with their work, and raising their child, so they needed to buy sight unseen. They wanted to renovate or add to a property that carried no flood or bush fire risks. They wanted a good rental return with the hope of later development possibilities. They liked the Sutherland Shire but couldn’t afford it initially. I searched out many properties particularly in Western Sydney and Southwest Sydney, and attended an auction, but they couldn’t increase their limit to win the auction. I decided to have a look around Campbelltown and Sutherland Shire. I researched a property in Gymea Bay and another in Gymea which they sent because it was within the new zoning location near public transport. After much discussion we went with an offer at Gymea which was accepted and now Rohin and Nicole are very happy to have a lovely rentable house they can later develop in an area they are very happy to invest in.
