 Rich Harvey is a property investor, professional economist and celebrated expert in Australian real estate – an industry in which he has had over 20 years’ worth of experience.

After graduating from Macquarie University with a Master’s degree in Economics, Rich’s passion for research, aptitude for investment and success in the real estate market translated into Property Buyer, the multi-award-winning buyers’ advocate agency which Rich founded and now heads as MD. A research expert and skilled investment analyst, Rich has an in-depth understanding of future trends and is able to leverage his experience to find and negotiate great savings and sound investments for his clients – something which he describes as his ultimate passion.

At Property Buyer Rich specialises in the prestige/luxury, commercial and investment property markets where he freely shares his knowledge, contacts and experience with his clients, not only helping them to find the right home, but also to build wealth through property investment. Rich’s uncanny ability to identify areas which are likely to have the greatest capital growth make him an excellent resource for buyers across all areas.

Rich serves on a voluntary basis to improve the professionalism and standards within the buyers’ agents industry as the Chairman of the Buyers’ Agent Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of NSW and President of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Association of Australia.

Rich has won over 25 major awards including the prestigious National Telstra Business award. He is an eight time winner and finalist in the REINSW Buyers Agent “Award for Excellence” 2005-2014. He was also named the “Best Property Finder Asia Pacific” in 2011.

Rich is a recognised media commentator on property matters and appears in the Financial Review, Domain, Herald, YIP, API and SPI magazines and is a keynote speaker at the Sydney and Melbourne Property Shows. He also regularly appears on Sky Business.
