The western side makes up part of the popular ‘Bay Run,’ which loops around Iron Cove, while some of Five Dock’s parks are positioned on the waterfront such as the expansive Timbrell Park which has BBQ facilities and a children’s playground. Others such as Storey Park permit off-leash dogs. The tennis centre in Five Dock Park caters to tennis fans while Barnwell Park Golf Club offers a short course for the golf fans. There are also multiple gyms and fitness studios in Five Dock so you can take your pick.
