Anthony was referred to me by a past client and approached us for our negotiation service. The property was originally listed for auction and there was a lot of interest, as it was the ideal home for a down-sizer – beautifully renovated, close to shops, transport and lift accessible. After another buyer had made an offer, it was evident that the agent was prepared to go back and forth between all buyers and in my experience, this would just escalate the competition and price. Hence, I encouraged the agent to ask all parties for their best and final and as a result we managed to secure the property.
