I highly, highly recommend using a buyers’ agent from Propertybuyer depending on your situation. My first assurance would be: Don't be put off by the initial fees - you get your money's worth. In my case, I work overseas and had a daughter who was at university in Melbourne, and I wanted to buy a property that would both give her a home but could act as in investment property in the future. Unfortunately, with covid I was not able to get home to view properties and so having Amanda from Propertybuyer work closely with me and help my daughter attend viewings was a godsend. She helped clarify our vision, was patient whenever we changed our minds about what we were looking for, adapted to our needs, provided excellent advice and guidance and secured us a property that was way below market value. She negotiated much harder than I would have dared, and we consequently got a property that had a lot more equity in it which was fantastic given the uncertain times in the property market at the time. What we saved on the property purchase more than paid for the fees and also gave us great assurance and peace of mind that we had made the right decision. But even more than all that, Amanda was genuinely supportive of our situation and absolutely had our best interests at heart. it was so wonderful to know that she was there to help our daughter to find a property that was safe and secure and that she also loved.
