Simon and Ing are very busy professionals and wanted to buy their first investment property. They didn’t know where to start looking and didn’t have time given their jobs and their young family’s needs. They didn’t want the emotional attachment to the property, just an investment that has good returns and capital growth. Their budget was approx. $800,000. It took 2 weeks to find the property at Cambridge Park. After extensive searching, attending many properties, including an auction in Mount Annan, I found their first investment property. After checking the building reports and negotiating with the vendor’s agent, I was able to save Simon and Ing $25,000 on the expected price. The property is 25 minutes’ drive to the new Western Sydney International airport, the rent return is expected to be $600pw (4%) and the level block of land has the potential for a granny flat in the future.
