Solution:

After having held back for some years in starting to develop an investment property portfolio, we, I and my brother, finally contacted “propertybuyer”. We were determined this time not to let our lack of time and our lack of expertise get in the way, and furthermore if it were at all possible, we were to approach it with a belated sense of urgency to somehow make up for some of the lost time.

Within a space of 2 months from our initial meeting with Matt Corbett, not only was he able to secure us 2 investment properties exceeding our desired criteria in both instances, but also he was able to have them both tenanted within days of settlement of each, at well higher rental yields than the medians for the given locations. At all times throughout the process we have found Matt, and all his colleagues in various supporting capacities, to be very attentive, informative, efficient and courteous. In such a short time, the sense of belonging, whilst dealing with them on a day to day basis, felt no different to me than what I have been accustomed to with my own colleagues for some 32 years within our own organization.

Ahmet & Sermet wanted two investment properties in blue-chip areas on the North side of Sydney. They wanted the properties to be in good condition with no need for renovation and ideally as close to 5% rental yield as possible. Both properties were in excellent condition and very well positioned. Within 2 months we had purchased two properties that were both leased within 24 hours at $900pw and $650pw respectively. At the time the average rental yields in Manly & Queenscliff were 4.0% and 4.9% respectively, but both properties achieved gross yields of 5.5% and 5.45% respectively.
