The clients are downsizers, a semi-retired couple currently based in Sydney and planning their move to the Sunshine Coast. Their goal was to secure a lifestyle property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland where they could enjoy space, comfort, and long-term livability. They focused their search on sought-after locations including Doonan, Eumundi, and Cooroy, with a budget ranging from $1.9 million to $2.5 million. The couple specifically wanted an acreage property that featured a pool and a shed, with a strong emphasis on having a great outlook. Properties without a desirable outlook were considered deal breakers. Initially, three properties were shortlisted, and offers were made on the first two but were unfortunately unsuccessful. This led to some disappointment, as suitable properties in their preferred areas were extremely limited. To overcome this challenge, the search was broadened slightly while still maintaining close proximity to their desired locations. After inspecting multiple properties, including a full day of viewings across the Sunshine Coast, a suitable opportunity was identified in Cooroy, just 15 minutes from their original target areas. The property offered a quality home, excellent outlook, and plenty of usable land, aligning well with their needs. In the end, the clients were very pleased to secure this property, marking a strong purchase in a tightly held hinterland market and delivering the lifestyle they were seeking.
