Michael lives and works in Dubai. His children attend university and live in Sydney. Michael wanted to find a suitable apartment close to Sydney University, the Metro, a gym and shops to be able to live in it in the next few months. He originally wanted a 3-bedroom 2 bathroom and 1 car unit around Glebe, but quickly realised it was unaffordable. He came to Sydney for 2 weeks to be able to come to inspections with me, and I was able to take him to a few more affordable 2 bed 2 bath 1 car apartments in the Zetland, Waterloo, and Camperdown areas. The Waterloo unit he has purchased offered a bigger internal space, a gym, an internal pool in the complex, very reasonable strata rates, and is in a fantastic location for walking to cafes, shopping, and the Metro. I negotiated with the selling agent and was able to get the vendors to employ a plumber to fix issues in the bathrooms straight away before cooling off ended and drop their expected price of $1.150M by $10k. Michael is delighted to have found the ideal unit he hoped for and his son will move in until he returns to Sydney.
