Caringbah South is located 25 kilometres south of the Sydney Central Business District. It sits on a peninsula, on the north shore of the Port Hacking estuary.

There are several schools within this suburb. For one, there is De La Salle Catholic College, a secondary school for boys. If you are looking for a place to hone your child’s artistic skills and creativity, then the Art Umbrella School of Performing Arts is just nearby.
