Kurt & Marivic's Story

Hills District Homebuyer

"..Were able to purchase their dream home.... "

Location: Hills District

Price: $1,320,000

Buyer type: Homebuyer

buyers advocate comments:

Kurt and Marivic and their 2 adult sons had been looking for their new home after their landlord advised them of a rental increase when their expires in May 2023, and wanted them to sign a new lease.
They have been in Australia for a few years but aren’t familiar with a lot of suburbs.
I picked them up and drove them to many inspections. They wanted 3 bedrooms and an area for a study as well as a lot of storage, so a 2-car garage was important. They then decided they really wanted 4 bedrooms and it was more affordable to search in the Hills District.
When they saw the 4-bedroom place in Harrington Avenue and the convenience it offered being right on the shopping centre, and transport a 200m walk, they wanted it straight away. It also had a view over parklands and a lovely weatherproof outdoor entertaining area.
However, their initial offer wasn’t accepted, and another buyer’s offer was. Fortunately, the other buyer couldn’t get their finances in order in time for the deposit, so I negotiated with the agent and the Nick’s were able to purchase their dream home.
