After undertaking all the necessary due diligence and contract review, I attended the auction and was one of six registered bidders, so a very competitive auction with three actively bidding. I managed to make the last bid at $1,500,000 and the hammer came down, also allowing my clients to benefit from the new NSW Government stamp duty payment option for first home owners under $1.50m.
