Buyer's Brief: First home
To buy our first property to be owner occupied. It was a daunting prospect to do it alone. We are time poo and know very little about real estate and we were concerned that we would pay too much.
Nick was very patient and guided us through the whole process. His analysis of the property gave us confidence that we were buying at the right price. We felt very satisfied. As first home owners, Anthony and Qier engaged Propertybuyer to purchase their first property.
As young professionals, both worked full time they were time poor and were concerned about not having much property knowledge. They both had realistic expectations that their budget would mean living in the Western Suburbs, but what to buy/where and how much were very much their concerns.
After an initial meeting with Anthony and reviewing his ‘Wish list’, my strategy was to look out for a villa style property, in a smaller complex, and well located to train transport.
My search area focussed in areas between Werrington, Kingswood to Penrith. Within a relatively short period of time my short- list evolved that included a Strata tile three bedroom villa in Kingswood with double lock-up garage and small courtyard. It had been well maintained and the small complex appeared well managed. Anthony and Qier loved the villa and after a short period of negotiations with local agent Michael Coco, from Ray White, we agreed on a price within our market appraisal range.
Anthony and Qier intend to stay in their new villa which is well placed to benefit from the new Badgerys Airport construction and operation.
It was a pleasure working with Anthony and look forward to being able to assist them with their next purchase.
