Whitebridge is close to a number of Newcastle's best beaches as well as the nature reserve Glenrock Lagoon.

    King Edward Park is a large park overlooking the city and Pacific Ocean. Take a walk from Honeysuckle along the foreshore all the way along the break wall past the Nobby’s Lighthouse. Newcastle also has its own state reserve named “Blackbutt Reserve” after the trees that grow there.

    Schools & Education?

    Newcastle boasts some of the most well serviced schools in the state with also many private and Catholic options. The Junction Primary is locally renowned for its terrific culture and Newcastle Grammar has quiet prestigious reputation. Newcastle also boasts two selective state schools with The Hunter School of Performing Arts having produced some high-quality professional talent and Merewether High being Newcastle’s equivalent of James Ruse.
