Buyer's Brief: Apartment in Nth Sydney area

Goal:

I wanted to purchase a unit in North Sydney or surrounding areas. I wanted 2 + beds plus large terrace, open plan living and views. I did not consider doing this myself as I had only one month in Australia to buy the unit. I engaged propertybuyer from Hong Kong. I was concerned about what I had heard about the rapid rise in costs in the Sydney market and how to get a unit at what it was worth without having the cost inflated by unrealistic vendors.

Solution:

I was able to exchange contracts on a property within 2 weeks of being in Sydney. Mark and Wendy were seeking a home in the Lower North Shore within walking distance to transport, cafes and water. They both worked long hours and did not want to waste multiple hours commuting to and from work each week. They originally had quite a wide brief across a number of suburbs so it was important to show them a number of properties to outline the value obtainable in each one.
