Katherine & Paul contacted Propertybuyer after not having much success with their search for an investment home purchase. The residential property market had been showing strong prices increases during the year and Katherine felt quite overwhelmed by the rapidly changing market.

After viewing their buyers Wish List, I met up with Katherine & Paul in a nearby Town Centre to them and listened to their experience and what they wanted to achieve. Having purchase a few properties in the local area, I felt confident that I could find them something suitable.

I found they had deep property knowledge and we were able to work well together in talking about and viewing a number of property options together.

After a short while I was able to put together a property short list with my advice including our market appraisal, rental achievable, rental yield with supporting comments as to future growth or value-add prospects.

Being able to effectively communicate and negotiate with the selling agent of one of the preferred properties resulted in the purchase of a 4 1/2 year old 3 bedroom residence in Mount Annan for a price well below their budget. The property was rented out the day after settlement for a higher rental than forecast and showing a solid rental yield for the area.
