David was looking for a house on the Northern Beaches with dual-income potential. He was happy to renovate or equally comfortable in purchasing a property that required little to no work. Like many investors, for David it was all about the numbers. I managed to locate a number of opportunities and despite being in a softer market, David was outbid on a couple of opportunities. There was one that David was willing to purchase but I discouraged him because in my opinion he had underestimated the cost of works required. After around 3 months, we purchased this stunning home in Beacon Hill, with dual income potential. It was a fully renovated house with the ability to isolate the downstairs area into a separate accommodation, without impacting the rest of the home. Great rental around 4.5% gross yield. David was thrilled with the outcome.
