    Vaucluse is located in the more affluent Eastern Suburbs region of Sydney. Bordered by Watsons Bay to the north and the Tasman Sea to the east its elevated position provides for spectacular views of both the Pacific Ocean and Sydney Harbour.

    Vaucluse Public School caters for primary school children while older students can travel to nearby suburbs Bondi and Rose Bay. There are also several well regarded private schools in the surrounding area including Ascham, Cranbrook, Kambala, Kincoppal-Rose Bay and Scots College.

    Vaucluse offers a number of sizable parks and reserves and is home to Australia’s oldest lighthouse on its eastern shore – Macquarie Lighthouse. In the north-west corner of the suburb, Shark Beach and Nelsen Park offer a great spot to relax and enjoy the Harbour views. The suburb also includes a stunning cliff top walk with ocean views beginning at Clarke Reserve and heading north to Watsons Bay. Other facilities include the Diamond Bay Bowls Club and tennis courts at Samuel Park.
