Yasin lives overseas and has two daughters studying degrees in Sydney. He is a First Home Buyer and wanted a 2-bed unit near transport in suburbs from Parramatta to Guildford and Westmead. He had expectations of finding a safe area for his daughters in a security block that was no more than 7 years old, that had air con and other downlights close to transport for less than $700,000. There weren’t many suitable choices, and most were over his budget. It was hard for Yasin to understand our property market in Sydney and putting his trust in me to find the best option for him. I recommended the Meriton block in Parramatta because of its convenient location and safety aspect. Yasin flew to Sydney to inspect a few propositions and quickly realised the merits of the unit block I suggested originally. He and his family were able to meet up with me in Parramatta which quickly built their trust and confidence in my expertise. The units in the Meriton block are highly sought after and expensive, but I negotiated for a perfect unit with spectacular views for $775,000 which Yasin is thrilled with and decided to pay the extra for because of its location on popular Eat Street and safety for his daughters who will enjoy excellent access to transport and conveniences.
