Our clients were a mum and son duo. The mum was helping to purchase her son’s first home The mum had very different suburb ideas to the wishes of where her son wanted to live. This is where we as buyers agents could help mediate bringing them to an agreed upon census of common ground. We did this via a journey of discovery educating them what their budget could buy in various suburbs. This discovery enabled us to focus on a narrowed down set of targeted suburbs. Within 3 weeks and only 6 properties later we were able to find the quirky - non-cookie cutter style - type of apartment that best suited the son. We were up against a first homebuyer that could not go above a certain budget as they wanted to avoid paying the stamp duty and with this intel at hand we were able to secure this property by offering just over the stamp duty threshold as our purchaser purchased in a Trust which would not allow them the stamp duty savings . Our strong relationships with selling agents definitely benefits our clients to ensure we get the best result possible .
