Skha & Paul were buying a property for their superfund. They were good in the way of being open to different areas and I personally viewed online every property in their price range in the Logan / Beaudesert / Greater Ipswich and Toowoomba areas, did countless autovaluations and flood checks on those that were suitable. We did put in an offer on a property in Toowoomba however we were outbid. Our offer was $795,000 which they advised me was their maximum amount. Even though during our initial phone call I warned them that it was going to be a challenge as its getting near impossible to find a 4x2x2 under $800,000 in any of the areas mentioned above they were very impatient and were complaining after 6 days that we hadn’t found their home. That’s even after providing them with pretty much 24/7 access to communicate throughout the week and weekends. I found them a home in Walloon in which we made an offer of $795k, the buyers went through the home whilst I was at Toowoomba looking at properties for them. They told me that the agent would be calling me back within 3 days, they went quiet during this period and I suspected they were negotiating privately which turned out to be the case. They had told me they could not raise their offer above $795k but did to $826k which they did direct with the agent. The other thing to note I had requested that she get her solicitor / accountant to email her the exact details required for the name to go onto the contract. She seemed to refuse but eventually emailed the details and which she provided directly to the agent and turned out to be incorrect. I would be very reluctant to work with these people again, days after Paul told me I did a great job of finding a great property his wife was on the phone trying to get out of paying a commission. I had already warned Glen that I suspected this would be their angle. At the same time I have been dealing with some other clients offering the exact same level of service and they are very happy. I was extremely disappointed that it turned out this way as I was sure that I was going to be able to request a positive review after all the work I put in.
